Rømåsen 858 is a cosy and welcoming family cabin located in the peaceful north-eastern part of the Rømåsen cabin area. Here you stay in quiet surroundings with beautiful mountain views and easy access to nature throughout the year.
Originally built in 1965 and later upgraded, the cabin today combines traditional cabin charm with modern comfort.
The living room and kitchen feature an open and social layout with plenty of space around the dining table. The wood-burning stove creates warmth and atmosphere after active days outdoors, while large windows bring the surrounding nature inside.
The main cabin has three bedrooms, and the separate annex provides additional space and flexibility. This makes the cabin particularly well suited for larger families or families with older children who appreciate a little extra privacy.
Sleeping arrangements
Main cabin:
Bedroom 1: Double bed 150 cm
Bedroom 2: Family bunk bed 120 cm/90 cm
Bedroom 3: Bunk bed 90 cm/90 cm
Annex:
1 single bed 75 cm
1 family bunk bed 120 cm/90 cm
Please note that all duvets in the cabin are extra long (220 cm).
The bathroom includes shower, toilet and underfloor heating. The entrance hall also has underfloor heating, while the rest of the cabin is heated by panel heaters and a wood-burning stove.
During summer, outdoor furniture is available on the spacious terrace, offering a great place to relax and enjoy the views.
Parking for two cars is available directly outside the cabin.
EV charger is avilable, payment upon booking.
Rømåsen is a well-established and peaceful cabin area with excellent outdoor opportunities all year round. In winter, you have easy access to cross-country ski trails, while summer and autumn offer beautiful hiking and cycling opportunities in the surrounding mountains.
The cabin is located within the barrier at Rømåsen. Registration and more info can be found at www.youpark.no. Search for Rømåsen. Note that there is only payment during winter season, from the 1st of November to the 1st of May.
