Rømåsen 662 is a traditional and welcoming family cabin located in the heart of the established Rømåsen cabin area. Here, nature begins right outside the door, with blueberry bushes surrounding the cabin and beautiful views across the mountain landscape.
Originally built in 1975 and extended in 2003, the cabin offers the warm and authentic mountain atmosphere many guests associate with Sjusjøen.
The living and dining areas provide plenty of space for family and friends to gather. Large windows bring the surrounding landscape indoors, while the wood-burning stove creates warmth and a cosy atmosphere after a day outside. A safety gate has been installed around the stove for younger guests.
The kitchen is equipped with a dishwasher and waffle iron – perfect for long mountain breakfasts.
The cabin has three bedrooms and accommodates up to eight guests.
Sleeping arrangements
Bedroom 1: Family bunk bed 160 cm/90 cm
Bedroom 2: Family bunk bed 120 cm/90 cm
Bedroom 3: Bunk bed 90 cm/90 cm
A baby cot is also available.
The bathroom includes shower, toilet and underfloor heating.
One of the cabin's special features is the covered outdoor sauna located just outside the main bedroom. After a day outdoors, there are few things better than relaxing in the sauna – perhaps followed by a refreshing snow bath during winter.
The cabin has a TV with HDMI connection, allowing guests to connect their own devices. Please note that the cabin does not have WiFi.
Rømåsen offers excellent outdoor opportunities throughout the year. In winter, you have easy access to Sjusjøen's extensive cross-country ski trail network, while summer and autumn are ideal for hiking and cycling in peaceful mountain surroundings.
The cabin is located within the barrier at Rømåsen. Registration and more info can be found at www.youpark.no. Search for Rømåsen. Note that there is only payment during winter season, from the 1st of November to the 1st of May.
