Hyttetu is a traditional mountain cabin full of character and authentic Norwegian cabin atmosphere. The cabin is peacefully located in an elevated area, with easy access to cross-country ski trails and outdoor activities throughout the year.
This is the cabin for guests looking for a genuine mountain experience – complete with a wood-burning stove, sauna and plenty of space to gather family and friends after a day outdoors.
The living room is warm and inviting, with the fireplace creating a natural meeting place during winter evenings. The kitchen offers a comfortable dining area and large windows providing plenty of natural light.
The cabin has three bedrooms and accommodates seven to nine guests. One of the bedrooms also serves as an additional living area, making the cabin particularly suitable for families with children or teenagers.
Sleeping arrangements
Bedroom 1: Double bed 150 cm
Beroom 2: Bunk bed 75/75 cm
Bedroom 3/additional living area: Single beds 75 cm, do note that they are a bit shorter then normal sized bed.
The bathroom has been renovated and includes both a shower and sauna. There is also a separate toilet.
For ski enthusiasts, a storage shed with ski waxing bench is available.
During winter, cross-country ski trails are located only around 200 metres from the cabin. From here, you have direct access to Sjusjøen's extensive trail network. The cabin is located in an area known for reliable snow conditions and long winters.
In summer and autumn, the area offers excellent opportunities for hiking and cycling.
Sjusjøen centre is approximately 1.5 km away, where you will find grocery shopping, sports shops with ski and bike rental, as well as restaurants and cafés.
Dogs are welcome.
