Hjertebo is a bright and modern mountain cabin beautifully located at the top of Birkebeinerbakken, 900 metres above sea level. Here you stay high above the surrounding landscape with panoramic mountain views and easy access to both ski trails and hiking routes.
Large windows bring the surrounding nature indoors and create a spacious and airy atmosphere throughout the cabin. The open-plan living room and kitchen provide plenty of space for shared meals and relaxing evenings by the fireplace.
The cabin offers two bedrooms and a spacious loft area, accommodating up to nine guests. The loft is a favourite gathering place for both children and adults.
There are two bathrooms, both with shower and toilet. One of the bathrooms also includes a sauna. A separate laundry room with washing machine and tumble dryer adds extra comfort during your stay.
Sleeping arrangements:
Bedroom 1: Double bed 150 cm
Bedroom 2: Family bunk bed 140 cm/90 cm
Loft: 4 single beds 90 cm
The cabin does not have fixed WiFi, but a portable 4G router can be rented through Sjusjøen Hytteutleie.
The cross-country ski trails are within easy reach, offering access to Sjusjøen's extensive trail network. During summer and autumn, the cabin is an excellent base for hiking and cycling in the surrounding mountain landscape.
Sjusjøen centre is approximately 2.5 km away.
