This traditional mountain cabin is peacefully located between Sjusjøen centre and the famous Birkebeiner ski trails. With beautiful views, easy access to ski trails and excellent hiking opportunities right outside the door, this is a cabin well suited for both winter and summer holidays.
The cabin is well maintained and designed with comfort and practicality in mind. The spacious living room features large windows with lovely mountain views. After a day outdoors, guests can gather around either the fireplace or the wood-burning stove, whether returning from a ski trip, a bike ride or a hike in the mountains.
The kitchen is well equipped and includes its own dining area, in addition to the dining table in the living room. The cabin is ideal for families and groups of friends looking for a traditional mountain cabin with plenty of space to spend time together.
Sleeping arrangements
Bedroom 1: Double bed (180 x 200 cm)
Bedroom 2: Double bed (150 x 200 cm)
Bedroom 3: Two single beds (90 x 200 cm)
Bedroom 4: Bunk bed (75 x 200 cm)
The cabin has one bathroom with a shower (without a toilet), accessed from the kitchen, as well as a separate toilet located in the hallway near the bedrooms.
For ski enthusiasts, there is a dedicated ski waxing and storage room with a Swix waxing bench and plenty of space for equipment. During the summer months, the room is also well suited for storing bicycles and outdoor gear.
Cross-country ski trails, including the illuminated trail and the renowned Birkebeiner trail, are located only about 100 metres from the cabin. In summer and autumn, the surrounding area offers excellent opportunities for hiking and cycling, while the elevated location provides beautiful views throughout the year.
Sjusjøen centre is approximately 1 km away on foot. During winter, the driving distance is around 2.5 km.
The cabin is equipped with, among other things, a dishwasher, washing machine with drying function and a waffle maker.
